More Details:Selling my little friend. If you know these Sunraders and their toyota 20r engines you know they are unstoppable. Mine is in pretty decent shape inside and out. 17 mpg (pretty good for a RV) the body and interior components are less than perfect but it RUNS GREAT. I put some good miles on her. Been across the country twice, and up and down the west coast 4 times. The small handful of breakdowns were all resolved easily. It’s truly the simplest thing to work on. I’m no mechanic just common sense. It’s basic auto technology, no computers. Battery -> Spark/Starter -> Gas/Air/Carb -> Run -> Coolant System -> Run-> -> Coolest System -> Run! you dont get it or dont want to learn how to tinker (I learned it with my first VW bus) this baby is not for you.

Cabin has 2 beds, sleeping for 4 people, dining table, 2 burner stove, stink, shower, toilet, refrigerator, exhaust fans, low watt lighting, 12-volt solar system, old 8-track player 🙂
Also has a Genrac 3400 watt generator which is loud and should be tossed for a solar setup, Air-ride rear shocks, electric air compressor, 40 potable water tank, 300w amp and 12″ . woofer for bumping beats

Before you get excited.. here’s the bad / things to consider

SMOG! Carburetor and air cleaner would need to be restored to factory design to pass CA SMOG.I have those parts but would HIGHLY SUGGEST contacting a CA mechanic if you were planing on registering it in CA. Or do as I did and register it out-of -state. Also there are taxes/fees involved in bringing a vehicle into California.

This is a 18′, rear dinette model. You can park it n a normal sized parking spot. The rear axle was recalled in the 80s and HAS BEEN REPLACED to the 6 lug setup on a 1-ton chassis. It shows 48, 000 miles on a 99k odometer. I’m sure it rolled once in 36 years, maybe twice.

It is VERY reliable to drive, the cabin/ living area always needs work (shifting and bumpy roads)
