Selling our beloved 1984 Toyota New Horizon. There is a reason you see Toy Homes still on the road, the 22R engine is best designed 4 cylinder of all time and can easily do 300k miles. Ours is a 4 speed manual and only has 89K miles. We have taken this baby from Boulder up to Canada (dozens of mountain passes) and all the way down the west coast, it didn’t fail us once. It has been serviced mechanically: new fuel pump, front brakes, new hoses and belts, new battery, radiator flush, carburetor work, new propane tank and all new custom black out curtains! I am a carpenter and completely rebuilt the drivers side frame that was rotted. We ripped out the old carpet except the front cab for sound buffering. All windows and seams have been caulked and there are no leaks. This vehicle has the desired 6 lug floating axle (1 ton). It’s 21 ft. long and has the rare and collectable rear dinning area that folds down to a queen bed. No Dolphin has that, check out that awesome large original glass in back!
Comes equipped with a bathroom, stove and oven, furnace and hot water heater. Tires have 75% tread remaining.
The bad: the dual fridge does not work this has never been an issue for us, we used the fridge as a cooler with ice-blocks and never had a complaint. Don’t worry the stove works beautifully all 4 burners!
The Good: custom curtains that block out light; great for stealthing and privacy. Refurbished and upholstered interior. Low mileage reliable engine.
We lived in this for a year and have put 20k miles on it. The only reason we are selling is because we are now trapped in suburbia and have no where to park this beauty.
Serious buyers only please.
