More Details & Pictures

It has come time to finally part ways with my beloved Sunrader. Bought her in California about 5 years ago and drove all the way home to Miami.

The rig has the updated 6 lug, 1 ton rear axel. 22r bulletproof motor, with the carburetor rebuilt it 2014. She fires right up and purrs. No fluid leaks of any sort. 4 speed manual transmission. If you are someone who is interested in one of these Toyota Motorhomes and aims to do any sort of driving in mountainous regions i HIGHLY recommend seeking a rig with a manual transmission as the weight of these rigs far exceeds the braking ability and using the transmission when going downhill is an absolute necessity. (I actually owned an automatic 18′ sunrader previous to this one and going down from high terrain was always a nightmare. the breaks would heat up and completely stick and I would be left stranded waiting for them to cool off).

AC in the cab blows ice cold. CD/AM/FM/AUX stereo is recent and the two 6″ door speakers up front are brand new No leaks in the body. Windows were resealed recently. The body is in good condition & i updated the pin-striping. The driver’s side wall of the camper has some song lyrics on the side which can be removed if desired. Also, you might notice in the featured photo that one of the side mirrors is rusting out, I replaced this today with a brand new mirror.

I did a major overhaul on the interior as you can see in the photos. Reupholstered the entire rear section (cushions & curtains). Tore out the carpet and layed down hardwood Bamboo floors. New toilet.. New propane tanks. Updated interior LED lighting to save energy.

This Sunrader is unique in that I neatly installed a wall unit 5500 BTU AC unit into the side wall of the camper and it more than sufficiently cools the entire rig and doesn’t burn up energy/fuel like the big 9000+btu overhead units. I prefer boondocking to paying for campsites & I pride myself in the fact that I can run my entire rig, AC unit included for 9hrs on less that a gallon of gas using my Honda 2000 super quiet generator (not included in price). I have a bike rack attached to the 4″ bumper which is included for free if desired.

These appliances work:

-Dometic 3 way fridge
-stove top
-water pump
-instrument panel

These do not:

-oven (pilot light comes on but oven won’t actually ignite)
-hot water heater (2 gallon reservoir sprung a leak so i T’ed it off)

I am in no rush whatsoever to sell and would prefer answering E-mails and texts than Phone calls. I am very aware of the finite nature of these desirable Sunraders and will not entertain and low balls. Also no trades please.
