Super clean 1989 Itasca Spirit Motorhome with Toyota V6 for sale —19 feet long, drives great, gets 16-17 mpg.
Vehicle spent the majority of its life in California and Nevada before we purchased it and brought to the southeast. We renovated the inside (thoroughly cleaned EVERYTHING, removed the old carpet, complete new paint job, upholstery…) and did all safety updates to get her road-ready. We had hopes of using this rig a ton but due to our new baby it’s not been possible and we’ve reluctantly decided to sell. “Barb” is ready to roll for your weekend adventures or full-time living.
*****About the truck*****
Toyota V6 engine, well-maintained in very good condition with recent 2020 service including:
–fresh oil change
At 60k it had some major upgrades including:
–dist cap and plugs
–cylinder head and 6 exhaust values (cylinder head did not fail but was replaced preemptively per Toyota recall)
Service records scanned in and available upon request.
*****About the motorhome*****
–very good overall condition, no leaks
–newer IKEA queen mattress
–new vinyl flooring
–new upholstery (original foam is in great condition)
–18 gal fresh water tank that services kitchen sink
–grey and black tanks
–new toilet (water line to toilet has been discontinued, we just pour water down to flush, lines could be redone if you’re inclined, we just didn’t get to it)
–shower stall used for storage (same as above, water discontinued but lines are there if you’d like to reconnect)
–large fridge works on propane or 110 AC, just tested!
–awesome dinette that converts to another bed
–nice two-burner cast iron Cuisinart electric cooktop. Removable if you want more counter space for meal prep.
–35W solar panel on roof keeps your battery charged when rig is parked or if you are camping off-grid
–comes with Haier portable AC unit to keep you cool at camp!
–three roof vents
Some quirks to note about this rig:
–the original propane system was discontinued and removed. Currently there is a 20lb propane tank situated in the steel generator compartment in rear which services the fridge only.
–As noted above, the water system has also been modified and currently the fresh water tank and water pump only service the kitchen sink. Water is not plumbed to bath, although lines are there you can easily add this if you are inclined, we just never needed.
–there is no cabin heater, hot water heater, or on-board generator
–as noted above, no fixed air conditioning but we are including a great portable AC unit
