Updated 7/12/2019 – New Tires and Batteries

Very Nice 1990 Sunrader Toyota RV for sale.  This model is the most desirable and sought after small RV for a few reasons:

  1. The Sunrader design and construction results in a warm, dry environment that ensures an enjoyable camping and traveling experience. Unlike other design approaches, there are no leaks at the seams or windows,
  2. This model has the dual axle so it is sturdy enough to provide years of reliable service. Single axle models have a tendency to fail under the weight and strain of the RV.
  3. The Toyota 3.0 V6 is sturdy, reliable and economical.

Here is a list of its major attributes:

  • The RV gets good gas mileage: 14-17 mpg
  • The chassis has 150,000 miles on it. The engine was rebuilt by Jasper 9,000 miles ago.  I use only synthetic oil to add an extra level of protection.
  • The engine runs strong and clean; it passed California’s smog test in December 2018.
  • It is very reliable: last fall I drove it from Southern California to the northern tip of Vancouver island without a hitch.
  • It is small enough to drive easily but can sleep four comfortably (5 in a pinch)
  • It has dual air adjustable shocks so the suspension can be optimized for different driving conditions.
  • It has a 2400 watt Onan generator.
  • Appliances include a 3 way Dometic Refrigerator, a 4 burner stove, oven, microwave.
  • Water heater works well, so you can take warm showers on cold mornings!
  • Heater and A/C work well.
  • Retractable awning provides lots of shade.
  • Rear storage unit provides space for firewood, etc.
  • Automatic Transmission shifts smoothly.
  • New Batteries, CO2 detector, power converter, starter.
  • Have all service records

Dual Axle Sunraders are rare and highly desirable.  I have title in hand so purchase transaction will be quick.

$25,000.  Serious Inquiries only.

  1. Whoa there Cowboy …! Seems you made a slight typo in your price !
Looks like you accidentally added an extra zero !
    Didnt you mean $ 2500 ? 150K MILES ?

SURLY YOU DIDNT MEAN $25,000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Biily (with two ‘i’s),

I don’t think he made a typo — this is the model of Toyota RV that is the hardest to find. While yes, this is a higher than average asking price, it is also one of the VERY few Toyota Sunraders with a V-6 engine. They are extremely rare, because only about 5 or so show up for sale every calendar year in all of the US. The V-6 engine is more powerful, and this RV is one of the last Sunraders ever built (= newest). I can see in the photos it has lots of convenient upgrades: Onan generator, awning, on-board compressor for airsprings, three-way fridge, and other various added accessories. Not to mention only 9000 miles on a new JASPER engine. It looks like it has been very well taken care of, compared to most. I predict there will be a buyer who is looking specifically for a Sunrader with a V-6 engine that will be delighted to find one as nice as this, and recognize that is worth paying a higher price for.

  2. Crazy money! 10k would be more in line. That HUGE bump is an issue, very strange.
No mention of when timing belt water pump done last either. So add another 1k for that…..I guess we all can dream about getting huge money.

  3. I can’t find anything after 1989 without a V6, I think V6 is standard in these years, actually. So is the dual axle. Not sure why people keep talking about the dual axle in the later years as an upgrade when it comes standard.
