1991 TOYOTA DOLPHIN 400 V6 Class C RV
Moving Sale – New Home Driveway too steep.
We have had a blast with “Rudy” the RV and I hate to part ways. We have been the proud owners for the last three years. The pictures tell the story.
The pros are long! Engine/transmission all run exceptionally well. Dual axle six lugs. Interior updated before us. We have made minor improvements, plumbing, beautiful memory foam mattress. You have a great hot water heater, great pump/water pressure. All the sensors for water levels work well. Electrical is solid, generator works great for off grid. Refrigerator works on electrical or propane. LED lighting. Two tables, lots of storage. Includes a safe and electronic exterior deadbolt access with code. Bike rack. All lights work. Propane cook top with four burners. Flat screen with remote. Bluetooth Stereo. Microwave in top shape. Air Conditioner works perfectly. Transmission is smooth and engine starts up all the time with no issues. Up to date oil changes. Dolphin Model 400 is the L Shaped Dinette with drop down scissor style couch/bed.
Cons common to these classic motorhomes; Climbing mountains takes patience. Rudy has traveled from CA to Maine, across the Rockies and Appalachian ranges. Just don’t be in a hurry. We prefer two lane highways and backroads. Driver side door opens and closes with force, the upstairs overhang leans over too much. The Passenger door has some plastic that sticks out. It could use another round of weather proofing although there are no leaks and it has been water tight for us. Tires are due for replacement.
The original documentation, including bill of sale from the factory are included, as well as all the equipment information, very well maintained records.
It’s pretty widely known that Toyota builds an extremely reliable vehicle. They stopped manufacturing motorhomes (at least in the United States) back in 1993, yet you still see Toyota motorhomes ALL OVER. … It is not uncommon for a Toyota mini motorhome to run well over 200,000 miles on its original engine.
If you have questions the pictures speak a thousand words, please review before asking. I will edit the listing when a deal closes, thanks for your interest.
