We bought this motorhome back in February 2004 in Illinois (mileage 48,402). The purpose of the motorhome for us was to travel back to Oklahoma every summer to visit family. We also took one trip to Baja Mexico and eight trips to Palo Alto. We have all of our trips on an Excel spreadsheet also showing the mileage for each tank of gas.

In November 2008, we did some engine work. Rebuild head and new valves. We learned that one couldn’t just park the motorhome for one year at a time only starting it once a year. Since the engine work, we have started the motorhome every week for 5 minutes. It’s been fine since.

We have never known how to use any of the RV features, although we did use the furnace a couple of times. There is no generator. We’ve never used the oven, stove, hot water, shower, or refrigerator. It would be nice if this motorhome could go to someone who can use the RV features it was intended for.

Does the motorhome leak? Yes there’s a small leak around the air conditioner. There’s no damage and it only leaks when it rains heavily. We just put a bowl under the leak to catch the water. It’s been leaking for about three years now. Since we’ve been going through a drought, we’ve not had to worry about it.

The dinette turns into a short single bed, the couch pulls out to a narrow double bed, and the bunk over the driver and passenger seats sleeps three children or two adults. The upholstery is in good condition although the sun has rotted the top of the couch. We pulled out the carpets and put in linoleum flooring. There’s lots of storage.

Things that need to be fixed: Shower head broken (we used it to hang stuff), needs new shower curtain, and refrigerator needs to be replaced (not sure if it works properly. It never really got very cold when the rv was plugged in). Just little annoyances like external light covers need to be replaced.
