More Details & Pictures
This 1991 Winnebago Warrior RV is one of a Kind being sold at a discount. I have tried to take good care of it and did many improvements over the years. Have the original manual and a Haynes repair manual.
Starting with the coach:
-No Leaks. Leak proof roof(very important with these campers),
-100 Watt solar panel with deep cycle battery bank with inverter,
-2000 watt Honda generator connected to 5 gal. marine tank for extended use,
– hardwood flooring,
-LED lighting throughout,
-tinted coach windows(you can see out but they cannot see in),
-skylight(removed rooftop ac, custom built area under sink for portable ac(more efficient, lighter and created more headspace for those a little too tall for the rv, and brings the height of the rv down to about 9ft. I’ve heard people say it makes it more gas efficient too and avoids potential leaks from the ac)
-extra kitchen drawer,
-removed from under sink the old heater(inefficient, bought a portable one instead),
-custom rear hitch-housing generator in a very secure custom made box; propane tanks;sewage equipment, removed built-in propane tank and replaced it with those bbq tanks(lighter and easier to refill and carry a spare along; also it created more closet space inside camper)
-kitchen and bathroom faucets,
-replaced stereo and speakers in the cab
-stylish handles for all cabinets and drawers,
-all original cabinets, curtains and finishings.
After all that I’m probably still forgetting something…
Mechanical Upgrades:Besides the usual routine maintenance like oil changes..
When i first bought it I put loads of money into it. Changing all the belts, hoses, spark plugs, oil and transmission gaskets, filters, brake rotors & brake pads, some steering rods & joints, regular shocks, added air shocks, 8 Hankook tires, just to name a few things off the top of my head, but many more things were done…
And because i didn’t use it as much as i would’ve wanted to, these upgrades are still in good condition.
Now to some of the imperfections…
The Exterior has got some scratches, but no leaks. Generator is missing outside unit cover. (can be ordered for about $45)
The interior also has some wear and tear. But as far as I’m aware the appliances; fridge, stove, oven, water heater, no leaks from the holding tanks, toilet, shower, are in working order.
-I dont think the a/c in the cab works. It may need to just need to be cleaned out. It never bothered me..cruising up the road with the windows down, wind blowing, worked great for me..
-replaced uncomfortable over-the-cab cushions with a normal mattress on top of supportive piece of plywood(Mattress was given away so it’s not included)
As far as I’m aware it’s mechanically sound. V6 Engine still strong. It’s got the dual rear wheels. Less than 100k miles.
If you’re looking for a perfect rv then this one is probably not for you. But if you’re looking for one that has some minor imperfections at an unbeatable price, then look no further.
I really loved this rv. I have so many great memories in it. It’s great for long off the grid trips as well as city dwelling. And it’s fuel efficient.
I’m selling it because I haven’t been using it much and I rather someone make good use it out of it then having it in storage. It is being sold as-is.
Overall, even though it’s old, it works great and is a whole lot cheaper than buying a new or newer model or even renting. With a few trips you will have paid it off, in comparison to if you would have rented, and at the end of the day it’ll be yours to keep… Wish i had better pictures, but it’s covered in storage now. I’m hoping to update soon with good pictures.. Please feel free to contact me by email or whatsapp with any questions. Number provided receives only whataspp messages.
