More Details & Pictures

This is one of a kind, the Bandit is like no other camper on the road, and is very rare to find one in this great of condition. This camper is completely turn-key and road ready today, and will reach speeds of 65-70mph while driving on flat roads all while getting 20 miles per gallon! Clean Colorado title and will pass emissions no problem – I’ve never failed an emissions test and did not license this a collector currently.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Toyota Bandit, perhaps you’ve heard of the Toyota Sunrader – it’s bigger brother. While they are both strong and sturdy fiberglass molded campers built on Toyota Chassis, the Bandit is different from the Sunrader. It’s 17 feet long, it features a pop-top roof much like a Chinook. Think of it as a much rarer, and more modernized Chinook. This bandit was purchased new at Don Jacobs Toyota dealership in 1984 by a gentleman who used it very lightly, and kept it garaged. It came with a single rear wheel setup, which works just fine given it’s light weight and nimble nature. No need to deal with duallies. As if bandits weren’t already rare, this one takes the cake in that it’s got the factory SR5 trim, as well as an extra cab. This is one of a kind. I purchased this this in 2018 and have kept it in a garage the entire time while only putting 1200 miles on it. I put a lot of work into this vehicle making sure it was road trip ready, and the pandemic changed a lot of those travel plans. Unfortunately I don’t have the free time anymore to get this out and travel and camp as much and I want to, so this needs to go to a good home that plans to put it to use!
