1988 Toyota Odyssey
Four Cylinder 22 RE Engine
Great project camper.
We are selling only because we don’t have the time to give the attention to this project that it needs. “Darlene” is a great camper and we’ve loved going on adventures while trying to start to fixing her up! She’s truly a handyman/renovation dream for the right person. Very low mileage, engine runs great, new belts and battery and the living space is comfortable and fully functional.
Super Low Mileage – only 56k on original engine and transmission
Roof was recently treated and shows no sign of leaking anywhere – even in the heavy downpours that Western NC is known for.
Rear Air suspension system holds air and significantly improves the ride.
Water Pump works great
Grey Water tank is in great shape
House battery works well
Fresh Water tank fills and holds water
Queen Pillow Top Mattress
4 roof vents work great and don’t leak
All windows have screens and work well
Kitchen sink, stove, and oven are in good shape and have been used regularly.
New curtains and curtain rods
New paint in bed loft and kitchen area.
New upper cabinet handles and hinges
Shower and fridge work, although haven’t recently been used.
New table leg ready to be installed
This is a renovation project already underway and waiting for the right person to complete! These are the details of the status of the rebuild: The bathroom has already been gutted and is ready to renovate. Black water tank, toilet, hot water heater, and bathroom sink have all been removed. The rear exterior panel has become separated from the base of the frame and needs reinforcement and repair from old water damage. The exterior entry door to the camper living space leaks and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. See pictures below for the areas of known damage and required repair attention. Also, fuel gauge and cruise control don’t work, a/c in cab needs maintenance, and there is no roof a/c in the living area.
Overall, this camper runs great and has been on several long and successful adventures. All that is needed is the right person to take over and give the attention needed to finish the rebuild.
Included miscellaneous supplies:
Potable water hose
Jumper cables and jack
Portable camping toilet
Base for pedestal table
2 packs of LED Puck lights and several coils of 12v wiring
Several 12v RV camper light switches
