Many improvements have been done on our lovely “Phin”!
We have only owned her for a couple of years and are already attached and sad to see her go but have decided that a trailer/van combo is going to work better for us as we look forward to retirement. The previous owner made many mechanical improvements including a rebuilt engine, a solar panel and bluetooth. He also bought a new mattress. We prettied up her rough edges by sealing all the nicks and tears in the shower, adding a decorative touch to the curtains, seat covers for the cab and patchwork denim upholstery for the benches and decorative touches. See below for a complete list of the improvements. All the appliances work great and we have used them all! The air conditioner and the heater were both used extensively last year – from hot, humid July in Duluth to cool October in St. Cloud. The cooktop and oven worked well to keep us fed and the fridge kept our drinks frosty. The bathroom came in handy early last summer when campgrounds couldn’t yet open their shower houses. We have stayed comfy and dry through fair weather and foul. My hubby just had an oil change done last week. Downside – the water tank indicators don’t work very well – dump early, dump often! Also, the really neat original clock needs new works inside it – we just left it as a retro decorative element. We are asking $11,900 for her. We have clear title in hand and will take cash or cashier’s check in payment. We expect her to go soon and would really like to get our driveway back, so don’t wait! We live just south of St. Paul in Eagan, MN.
