This is an RV built on a Toyota Hilux chassis, one of the most reliable trucks ever made.

1990 Odyssey with: custom desk; electric upgrades including solar panels, lithium house battery + Bluetti power station (all properly fused); diesel heater with dedicated fuel tank; newer Dometic fridge from 2013; backup camera; great house stereo with Bluetooth and sub; Maxxair deluxe fan; awning; newer Onan generator (w/inside push button start), and more. 114K miles w/valve adjustment at 90K, new professionally-installed brakes front and rear, new KYB shocks all around, runs great, lots of service records (beginning at about 50K). Everything inside works properly—I removed the original furnace and water heater, replaced with diesel heater and 3 gal diesel tank, works great and has kept me warm in below-freezing temps for multiple days. Recently-serviced house air conditioning is excellent and has kept me comfortable during multiple 110+ degree days. Cab AC is great too, but needs charging. 3K watt-hours of lithium battery storage with 2K watt inverter which is strong enough to run microwave, convection, etc. Passed CA smog recently.

I’ve full-timed in this RV for the better part of the four years I’ve owned it, fixing things as I went along, modifying it slightly for improved boondocking and work/live capacity. The desk was designed by a product designer, made from premium plywood and cut on a CNC machine…so now, in place of the “L-shaped dinette” (which I always found to be prohibitively uncomfortable and a poor use of space) there’s an excellent work surface with lots of storage underneath. Custom window blinds and flooring go well with original blue decor. Structurally very sound: floor is excellent, aluminum roof is rock solid w/400 watts solar, modern 9BB panels. I had it professionally water sealed 3 years ago.

I’m reluctantly putting it up for sale–I bought a gutted toy home several months ago with the plan to slowly renovate it and keep both, but the “new” one has proven to be a money pit. I’m running out of good weather to complete it, and without a cash infusion I’d need to wait until next Spring, so I’m listing this one, which I will miss very much.

The Odyssey is the widest and tallest of the Toy homes with about 6’3” of standing height—it feels spacious inside, like a little apartment. 1-ton chassis, 6 lug axle,V6 3.0. There are differing opinions on years/models….but my mechanic mentor insists on later models like this one for their stronger chassis & V6, and I prefer that strength and power too.

I have a flexible schedule and can show most anytime, serious potential buyers only please, clean title in hand.
